​Hello I'm Shellie Kvilvang-O'Brien. Born and raised in Southern California and a graduate of CalArts Character Animation program.
I've worked on several 2D and CG shows as a Supervising Director, Episodic Director, Designer, and Story artist for T.V and Feature Animation, including projects for Cartoon Network, Disney, Nickelodeon, OddBot, Warner Bros and Wild Canary. I've also worked as a Story and Comedy consultant for feature short projects.
Most recently, I was the Development Supervising Director and 
Episodic Director for Lucas Film and Disney's Young Jedi Adventures as well as episodic director for Wild Canary Animation.
​I love focusing on telling sincere and heartwarming stories that connect to all audiences. 
From Lightsabers, cute puppies and Spongebob, Ive adapted my style for several projects from
preschool younger audiences to cinematic action or comedy. This site is a WIP so Im constantly updating so feel free to contact me for more samples.
